This position: Accountant is with a respected Independent Accountancy Practice who have a reputation for professionalism and integrity. They are looking for an Accountant who will play a pivotal role in the Accounting team. You’ll be given the tools to progress and take on more responsibility as you grow with the team at their Leicester office if this is what you want.

As an Accountant you will be:

  * The second contact for a portfolio of clients

  * Preparing annual accounts and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

  * Preparing management accounts and information on a quarterly or monthly basis

  * Prepare VAT returns on a quarterly basis

  * Supporting and developing trainee accountants with their assignments

We would love to speak to people who are currently working as a Part/ Fully Qualified Accountant or Assistant Accountant. Furthermore, we would be keen to speak to people who understand and have used programmes such as: Iris, Sage, Xero, Quick Books & MS Office. Finally, if you have any of the following qualifications we would love to talk: AAT, ACCA (part qualified).

As an Accountant your salary will be within the £30-35K region and as part of your employment with the company you will receive automatic enrolment in the pension scheme as well as paid study support and study leave.
