Location: Burton-On-Trent
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
Salary: £37k - £40k (Dependant on experience)
Job Type: Full time, permanent
Overview: We’re currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join a successful, independently owned prestige car dealership based in Burton-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-regarded business representing high-end luxury vehicles, offering a secure and long-term position within a reputable and established organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations within the Accounts Department
Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns
Processing payroll for all employees
Accurately manage sales and purchase invoices in a timely manner
Utilise SAGE accounting software effectively
Key Skills:
Demonstrable experience in an automotive accounts role or a similar environment
Solid understanding of VAT regulations and payroll procedures
Exceptional attention to detail with strong organisational skills
Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently
Confident using IT systems and accounting software, particularly SAGE
