Accountant
Up to £35,000 per annum (depending on skills and abilities)
Permanent role in Chester Business Park.
Additional benefits:

The Role:
Working for a chartered accountants the role will involve maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant:
Addressing client queries with HMRC.
Managing the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
Compiling personal tax computations and returns.
Provision of bookkeeping and management accounting services.
Maintenance of up-to-date accounting records for clients.
Preparation of annual accounts and corporation tax returns.
Requirements of the Assistant Accountant:
Previous experience in accounting or finance roles preferred.
AAT qualification preferred, but not essential.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or Xero.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
Additional skills/job titles: Management Accountant, Tax Accountant, Cost Accountant.
