Accountant
Salary: Up to £40,000 (DOE) + benefits (Hybrid Working, Study Support, Bonus)
Location: East Midlands
Duration: Full time, Permanent
Sellick Partnership have been engaged to recruit an Accountant for a dynamic and growing Accountancy practice based in the East Midlands. The company has onboarded a significant amount of clients over the past 12 months and due to this an exciting opportunity has opened up.
My client is looking for a well-rounded individual who can manage the full range of client services, from bookkeeping and payroll through to year-end accounts preparation and tax return drafting.
Responsibilities of the Accountant include:
Running of the month payroll bureau
Overseeing and delivering bookkeeping and VAT return services
Prepare limited and sole trader accounts
Liaise with clients, support onboarding and provide day-to-day advice
Lead digital onboarding/switchovers for clientsSuccessful Accountant candidates will have:
Part-qualified or qualified accountant/bookkeeper (AAT/ACCA/ICAEW or similar)
Hands on experience working within a practice
A self-starter who is confident working independently
Strong communicator who is able to speak with a range of different stakeholders
Comfortable using accounting systems/software (IRIS, Xero, Sage, Microsoft Office)If you consider yourself to be a proactive rather than reactive individual, committed, career driven professional who can demonstrate the above experience and who would welcome the stimulus of this finance post then we would be pleased to hear from you.
