Pure are currently recruiting for a temporary Accountant to support a local company that are in the process of upgrading their finance system, this will be for a 3 month period.
This is a practical and varied role ideal for someone with solid Excel skills and experience working within a finance team. You’ll help extract and organise financial data from the current system using Excel, support the team in moving it into the new system, and assist in writing up financial controls and clear guides for processes such as purchase ledger and invoice handling.
Key Responsibilities:
Use Excel to extract, clean, and format financial data for migration
Assist with reconciling records between old and new systems
Support the purchase ledger process and help document it clearly for future reference
Create step-by-step process guides and control checklists for finance tasks
Liaise with colleagues to ensure data accuracy and process consistency
Provide general admin and finance team support during the system transition
You must have strong Excel skills, a good understanding of basic finance functions especially purchase ledger and invoice processing and be comfortable writing finance processes and procedures.
