I'm recruiting on behalf of my client, a growing and well-established accountancy practice based in Glasgow city centre. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Senior to join their friendly and collaborative team.

As an Accounts Senior, you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting and advisory services. You'll also supervise junior staff, helping to mentor and guide their development.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
Preparation of management accounts and financial reporting packs
Acting as a key point of contact for your own client portfolio
Reviewing and providing feedback on work prepared by junior colleagues
Assisting Managers and Partners with ad hoc projects and technical queries
Ensuring all deadlines are met with accuracy and efficiencyWhat We're Looking For:
Qualified Accountant with ideally 2+ years' post-qualified experience in UK practice
Strong technical skills in accounts preparation, management reporting, and tax
Proven ability to manage a client portfolio independently
A client-focused approach with strong attention to detail
Commercial awareness with the initiative to identify and escalate opportunities or issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Enjoyment in mentoring and developing junior team members
