Up to £45,000 pa (depending on experience)
Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

We’re working with a successful business who are seeking an experienced Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Accountant who enjoys a varied role and wants to make a real impact within a supportive company.
Key responsibilities of the Accountant role:
Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
Managing balance sheet reconciliations and journals
Supporting year-end processes and liaising with auditors
Overseeing purchase and sales ledgers, accruals and prepayments
Monitoring cashflow and producing regular reports
Ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures and regulations
Providing support and guidance to the wider finance team and stakeholders
What we’re looking for in an Accountant:
Previous experience as an Accountant or similar finance role
Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and experience of using Sage 50
Excellent Excel skills and confidence using finance systems
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
