Job Description

Job Title: Accounting Manager – Induction Healthcare

Location: Remote, UK with occasional travel to company offices

Reports to: Senior Director of Finance

Work schedule: Mon – Fri, 37.5 hours per week

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, the Accounting Manager (Induction Healthcare), will be responsible for the entire finance function of Vitalhub’s UK subsidiary, Induction Healthcare, including owning month-end close duties, financial modelling, and financial operations. The role would be ideal for those interested in owning the finance function in a growing software company.

Your Responsibilities:

  * Lead the financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting in compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

  * Manage all aspects of financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities, while driving process efficiency.

  * Supervise and develop accounting team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  * Assist with integration of Induction into the finance department and the Netsuite system.

  * Lead financial forecasting and budgeting, providing analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and improve financial performance.

  * Serve as a key financial partner to the Induction General Manager, delivering timely reports, supporting business planning, and contributing to operational strategies.

  * Assist with the year-end audit.

  * Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, while proactively identifying and mitigating financial risks.

Essential Experience:

  * Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance/Accounting,

  * Qualified ACCA

  * Extensive experience in a similar field, with IFRS experience

  * Advanced Excel skills

  * Experience with accounting software Netsuite is preferred.

  * Experience managing a team

  * Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced demanding environment, with the ability to work under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines with accurate data.

  * Exceptional attention to details and organization skills

  * Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

  * Self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team

  * Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness with a strong sense of urgency - Get it done attitude!
