(PK8991) ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN DUBLIN Salary €40-50K depending on experience Our client is a leading Dublin based manufacturer seeking an Account Technician to maintain financial records and play a crucial role in managing a company's daily financial operations and data accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Financial Record Maintenance: Record financial transactions, manage ledgers, and update accounting software to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process and pay invoices, manage vendor and customer accounts, and process payments and receipts. Bank Reconciliations: Compare bank statements with internal financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies. Financial Reporting: Prepare and assist with the preparation of various financial reports, summaries, and commentaries. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with budgeting processes and monitor financial performance. Audit Support: Help with audits, both internal and external, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial standards. Tax & Compliance: Assist in preparing and filing tax and VAT returns, ensuring compliance with financial and tax legislation. Payroll: Administer and process payroll, including managing related documentation and ensuring adherence to payroll regulations.Essential Skills: Technical Proficiency: Strong IT skills, particularly with spreadsheets (like Excel) and various accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage). Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse financial data, identify discrepancies, and solve problems logically. Organisational & Time Management Skills: Capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Communication Skills: Ability to liaise with colleagues, clients, and management effectively. Attention to Detail: A thorough and logical approach to work to ensure the accuracy of financial records
