Accounts & Administration Assistant
Hutchinson Engineering Services Ltd is a Company involved in a varied range of activities, including Engineering - fabrication & welding, plant maintenance, shotblasting & paint spraying; Haulage - from a small pickup to large abnormal loads and a fleet of ADR vehicles; Mobile Crane & access hire; Repair & Maintenance of commercial vehicles & trailers; Plant & Vehicle sales and Training.

Despite not advertising for new work, the Company has seen employee growth of 36% in ten years, so our customers must appreciate what we do, which also means growth in supporting areas – we have recently installation of Sage 200. So, we need to expand our accounts and administration team with this latest role.
As this is a new vacancy, we have some flexibility but are looking to agree a minimum of 25 hours per week with remuneration between £12.00 and £14.50 per hour, dependant on your skills and experience.
The benefits package is as follows:
* Pay between £12.00 and £14.50 per hour dependent on skills and experience.
* Hours a minimum of 25 per week will be agreed, but we have some flexibility regarding days.
* Holidays are pro-rata to your working week with additional loyalty days added in time
* Pension An auto enrolment scheme is in place, after three months service, which you could opt out of. However, while ever you contribute to this, we add 3% of your eligible pay.
* 24-hour life cover is in place at 2½ times annual pay, after three months service. (Cover is 24/7 so you do not have to be at work for cover to be active.)
* Free on-site parking.
You will be working at our Weston site, in the accounts and administration team, reporting to the Company Accountant. Your previous experience will mean you are able to hit the ground running and will be confident, organised and ready to go.
The role will include:
* Answering calls and emails, filing and other general administration duties.
* Processing employee expenses for weekly payment
* Gathering weekly timesheets and calculate hours of pay
* Elements of both sales and purchase ledger work.
* Credit control.
* Other ad hoc elements, including answering queries and assisting with any other duties within the accounts and administration areas as and when required etc.
* So, a good all-rounder is needed.
You will be:
* A confident person, who is organised and proactive in your approach to your job, with good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Computer literate, with good knowledge of office software, particularly Excel
* Knowledge of accounts software, Sage 200, is important
* Able to work accurately to deadlines.
