Job Description
A well-established business based in Driffield is currently seeking a part-time Temporary Accounts Administrator to support their finance team. This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.00 - £13.00 per hour, depending on experience, along with flexible working hours.
As an Accounts Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
Processing purchase and sales invoices with accuracy and efficiency
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
Assisting with bank reconciliations and petty cash management
Preparing basic financial reports and maintaining financial records
Supporting the wider finance team during busy periods
Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth transactions
Ensuring all filing and data entry is kept up to date and compliant
To be successful in this Accounts Administrator role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to manage your time effectively
