Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an Accounts Administrator to join Derbyshire County Council's Highways Team on an initial 3-6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
What You’ll Do
*
Provide invoicing and payment support for a variety of Highways activities, ensuring compliance with Council policies and financial regulations.
*
Process supplier invoices and payments promptly and accurately to support timely delivery of services.
*
Respond to queries from internal colleagues and supply chain partners, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
*
Support financial and contract monitoring through data analysis and record management.
*
Maintain accurate financial and administrative records, including document management systems.
*
Liaise with suppliers to resolve invoice and order discrepancies.
*
Provide front-of-office and reception support, handling telephone and email enquiries and ensuring excellent customer service.
Hours: 8am to 4pm
