The Company:
ER Recruitment are excited to be working with our client, a well-respected and long-standing business with a supportive environment and a focus on continuous improvement.
Due to internal developments, they are now seeking a committed Accounts Administrator to join their finance function on a part-time basis.
Role & Responsibilities of the Accounts Administrator:
* Assist with the preparation and entry of financial transactions, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
* Support day-to-day finance operations including sales and purchase ledger activity.
* Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on payments in a professional manner.
* Process incoming payments and reconcile bank statements.
* Respond to internal and external queries related to finance with a customer-focused approach.
* Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance and wider team on month-end tasks and reporting.
* Carry out administrative duties such as document management and system updates.
* Contribute to a smooth and efficient finance function, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
About You as the Accounts Administrator:
* Previous experience in an accounts-based role, ideally including credit control or invoicing.
* Comfortable using financial software (experience with Microsoft Business Central is a plus).
* Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong interpersonal skills — able to communicate confidently and clearly with colleagues and customers.
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
* A proactive team player who can also work independently when required.
* Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
* Reliable, professional, and eager to learn new skills.
