Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Hours: Full Time, Hybrid
SF Recruitment are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant, on a long term contract for our client. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for accounts payable, cash allocation, reconciliations and accounts receivable.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Process purchase invoices and credit notes accurately and promptly
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
Assist with weekly/monthly payment runs and ensure timely supplier payments
Allocate payments
Bank reconciliations (weekly/monthly)
Assist the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant
Solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
Proficient in Excel
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
