Description
Processing of invoices and payments.
Support the reconciliation of accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
Support month-end closing activities by preparing necessary reports and reconciliations.
Posting journals relating to payments and receipts.
VAT returns.
Maintain up-to-date records of transactions and financial data.
Communicate with suppliers and customers to address financial queries.
Help prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial tasks.
Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
Assist in other finance-related tasks as required by the team.Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
Previous experience working as an accounts assistant.
Proficiency in using accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle financial data accurately.
Good communication skills for liaising with team members and external contacts.
A proactive approach to work and the ability to meet deadlines.Job Offer
Salary up to £25,000 equivalent per hour - dependent upon experience.
