Job Description
My client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join an expanding team with an immediate start available.
The position will be until at least January '26 which could be extended.
Package -
* Monday to Thursday
08:30 until 17:00
* Friday
08:30 until 13:00
* £15.00 per hour
Responsibilities -
* Process supplier invoices accurately and promptly, ensuring correct coding and authorisation.
* Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
* Prepare weekly/monthly payment runs
* Maintain and update supplier accounts, ensuring records are up to date.
* Liaise with suppliers to resolve invoice or payment queries.
* Process and verify employee expense claims in line with company policy.
* Check receipts and ensure compliance with HMRC guidelines.
* Post approved expenses to the accounting system and prepare for payment.
* Maintain accurate expense records and assist in month-end reporting.
Essential -
* A friendly and personable demeanour.
* Ability to work as part of a team, along with independent working and contribute new ideas for efficiency.
* Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
