Vita CV is hiring on behalf of our client, an accounts team handling purchase ledger, reconciliations, and day-to-day finance administration.

This is a UK-wide remote opportunity for a Accounts Assistant who can work independently, stay organised, and contribute reliably within a structured home-based setup.

About the Role:

You will support accounts payable, reconciliations, ledger accuracy, and routine finance administration across daily accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, payment records, and finance-related documentation accurately
• Maintain ledgers, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Assist with month-end, reporting, or audit preparation tasks
• Manage finance queries from internal stakeholders or suppliers
• Update spreadsheets and systems with consistent, accurate information
• Support cash, expense, or balance checks where required
• Help maintain strong finance process discipline across recurring tasks

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in finance administration, accounts, or bookkeeping
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Confidence using finance systems and spreadsheets
• Ability to manage deadlines and recurring processes
• Professional handling of confidential financial information
• Reliable communication and structured working habits

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar tools
• Exposure to reconciliations, reporting, or month-end support
