Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity in the fast-paced world of Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations? Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join their London-based office on a Temp to Perm basis! Key Details: Position: Accounts Assistant Location: London (3 days in the office, 2 days hybrid) Contract Type: Temp to Perm Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Hourly Rate: £16 - £16.40 Why Join Us? You'll play a pivotal role in their finance department, helping to ensure smooth operations while working alongside talented professionals in a supportive environment. Your Responsibilities: As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for: Purchase Ledger Management: Processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and preparing payment lists. Expense Processing: Handling company card and personal expenses with precision. Account Query Resolution: Addressing queries related to both accounts receivable and payable. Client Communication: Engaging with clients and suppliers on a daily basis to foster strong relationships. Sales Invoicing & Credit Control: Assisting with the processing of sales invoices and supporting credit control functions. Month-End Processing: Contributing to month-end reconciliations, journals, and other financial tasks. Inter-Company Processing: Managing inter-company transactions efficiently. Finance Inbox Management: Monitoring and responding to queries in the finance inbox. VAT Reconciliations: Assisting with VAT reconciliations and consolidations. Ad-Hoc Duties: Taking on additional tasks as required to support the team. What We're Looking For: To thrive in this role, you should possess: Proven Experience: A solid background in a Finance position is essential. Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting. Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues. organisational Skills: Highly organised and capable of meeting strict deadlines. Autonomy: Comfortable working independently while supporting the team when needed. Technical Proficiency: Experience with Sage and Microsoft Excel is a must.
