Job Description
A well-established organisation based between York and Malton on the A64 is currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join their established finance team on a full-time or part-time, permanent basis. On offer is a salary of up to £28,000, 31 days’ holiday including Bank Holidays, with typical working hours of 30–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Full-time, part-time or term-time hours will be considered.
As a Finance Assistant, you will be:
Handling transactional finance duties
Maintaining ledgers
Completing regular bank reconciliations
Assisting in the preparation of management accounts
Supporting colleagues within a small, friendly finance teamTo be successful in this Finance Assistant role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in a similar finance/accounts role
Confidence to work independently and pick things up quickly
A collaborative and team-focused approach
Good attention to detail and organisational skillsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive team. We would be particularly keen to speak to people who are currently working as Accounts Assistants, Bookkeepers, Purchase Ledger Clerks, Finance Assistants, Finance Officers, Accounts Payable, or Sales Ledger and anyone with experience in transactional finance who could step into this role. The role is office-based, with free parking on site (driving is essential due to the location).
Easily commutable from York, Malton, Pickering, Easingwold, Scarborough, Harrogate, Selby and the surrounding areas, with direct access via the A64.
