Accounts Assistant - Part-time Location - Dereham Salary - £27k - £34k Pro rata Hours - Approx 25 - 27.5 hours per week, negotiable. Based just outside Dereham, the business has a small friendly accounts team, and a reputation for offering their clients excellent accounting and taxation support & services. An increase in workload has opened a gap for a keen Accounts Assistant, looking to build up their current practice experience in this well rounded role. The work will involve multiple areas to allow sufficient work flow. This role would suit a candidate who is qualified by experience or have an accountancy qualification, and current and relevant experience within an accountancy practice environment. The role is mainly: Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements for companies, sole-traders & partnerships Personal and corporate tax return preparation & completion Prompt client contact and liaison providing a top-class service, going the extra mileExperience: Accountancy Practice: 2 years (required) Sage: 2 years (required) Accounts & Tax Return Software: 1 year (required)We seek an individual who has: good communication skills, happy to converse with clients and able to work in a team. Must have experience of working in an Accountancy Practice Ability to work solely with minimum supervision A personable, customer driven, people person Have a positive can-do attitude Have a passion to go the extra mile to support client queries Must be able to work to strict deadlines Experience of Sage, Xero, Quickbooks & Accounts & Tax Return SoftwareOffice based position, within easy reach of A47.
