About the Role
Our Client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts / Finance Assistant to join a fast-paced friendly family run business in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is AAT Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) and looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently
* Managing supplier statements and reconciling accounts
* Assisting with bank reconciliations and month-end procedures
* Preparing and posting journals
* Supporting credit control and accounts payable functions
* Maintaining accurate financial records and spreadsheets
* Assisting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc finance tasks and reporting
* Working multi-currency and experienced in Dollars / Pounds and Euros
* Experienced in Exports
About You
* AAT Level 3 qualified (or actively studying)
* Use of SAGE
* Previous experience in an accounts or finance assistant role
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Good working knowledge of Excel and accounting software
* Well organised with the ability to meet deadlines
* A positive, team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
