Company Details and Job Overview:
A small but growing family owned business in Kendal are looking to appoint an experienced finance professional to work alongside their external accountants, providing support with the day-to-day management of all financial activities.

• Office based role, with opportunity to work from home 1-2 days per week if preferred
• 22 days annual leave entitlement including bank holidays

Your New Role as Accounts Manager:
• Working closely alongside the Managing Director to provide financial insight and advice to support growth strategy
• Production of management accounts up to trial balance
• Responsibility for credit control, building strong working relationships with customers
• Management of purchase ledger and sales ledger
• Review and enhance existing accounting processes
• Regular liaison with the external accountant to provide all necessary information
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong bookkeeping skills with good attention to detail. With the ability to work independently and manage own workload, strong team working skills are required to build and maintain strong working relationships with various non-finance colleagues. Experience of using Sage 50 software is advantageous and good Excel skills are essential.
