Job Description
We are currently recruiting a Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to join a logistics company in Witham, Essex ASAP! This is an office-based role, working 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday, paying up to £12.82 per hour. This is an initial 6-week temporary position but could be extended.
Key Duties:
Support the Purchase Ledger team to ensure all supplier invoices are managed in line with company policies and procedures.
Managing the accounts inbox.
Reconciling statements using VLOOKUP and other Excel tools.
Posting and coding invoices.
Dealing with invoice queries.
Posting invoices and obtaining approval where needed for sign-off.
Ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time.Excel Requirements:
Solid experience with VLOOKUP.
Confidently able to navigate and manipulate Excel, moving efficiently between sheets and workbooks.Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years' experience in accounts.
Team player with good customer service skills.
