About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Assistant to join our clients finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in finance and accounting within a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies
Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledger
Prepare and process payment runs (BACS, CHAPS, etc.)
Respond to supplier queries and maintain strong relationships
Assist with month-end closing and reporting
Support the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in an accounts payable or finance role (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Orderwise and Business Central)
A proactive and positive attitude
What We Offer
Monday to Friday
Flexible working hours between 7am to 5pm (40 hours a week)
