Description
Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Maintain and update accounts payable records in an organised manner.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Prepare payment runs and ensure timely remittance to suppliers.
Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Respond to supplier queries in a professional and efficient manner.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad-hoc tasks as needed.Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role within the FMCG sector.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment in Airdrie.
