Description
Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Oversee invoice processing and supplier payment schedules.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Prepare and provide regular reports on accounts payable performance to senior management.
Lead and support a small team within the accounts payable function.
Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to internal controls.
Assist in month-end closing and audit preparations as required.Profile
A successful AP Manager should have:
Proven experience in Accounts Payable from a high volume, multi site background
Experience in leading a team
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and stakeholders.Job Offer
