Description
Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Maintain and reconcile accounts payable records.
Handle supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.
Prepare and process payment runs, including BACS and international payments.
Assist with month-end closing activities, such as reconciliations and reporting.
Monitor and manage the accounts payable mailbox.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
Support the accounting and finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Specialist should have:
Strong experience in accounts payable processes.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive attitude and a commitment to accuracy.
Good communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal departments effectively.
