Your new role
Planning and preparing accounts for a variety of clients (e.g. Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies) from client records for review by manager or reporting partner.
Sending final accounts to clients.
Assist less senior colleagues with accounts completion
Setting budgets for accounts preparation.
Preparing and reviewing personal and Corporation Tax Returns along with tax planning.
Calculating income tax liabilities.
Cash flow forecasting work.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients
Dealing with everyday correspondence and emails in a timely manner.
Tax enquiries work as they arise.
Preparation of management and financial accounts
Assisting with coaching and developing junior members of the team, including on-the-job training
Providing software training to clients
Daily completion of your timesheet
Continuous professional development to deepen your own knowledge and understanding and keep up to date with any changes within the industryWhat you'll need to succeed
AAT qualified with at least 4 years' practice experience, or ACA/ACCA part-qualified with a minimum of 8 years' experience.
Strong experience in accounts preparation and tax
Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and CCH
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
A proactive attitude and the ability to support and mentor junior colleagues
