Salary: £13.50 – £15.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday (Full-time) 12:30 Finish on a Friday
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Acrylic Fabricator to join our team. You will be responsible for the fabrication, Bending, and assembly of acrylic and other clear aesthetic plastic components to high standards of accuracy and finish. This role is workshop-based and ideal for someone with experience working with hot-line bending techniques.
Key Duties:
* Cutting, shaping, bending, and polishing acrylic and other plastics.
* Fabricating bespoke items including machine guards, displays, and clear plastic sheet products.
* Working with high aesthetic plastic finishes exceeding client requirements.
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
* Using tools and machinery for precision cutting, bonding, and finishing.
* Ensuring all products meet quality, durability, and safety standards.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety guidelines.
* Working to schedules and deadlines
Requirements:
* Previous experience as an Acrylic Fabricator, Plastic Fabricator, or similar role.
* Skilled in working with acrylics, polycarbonate, PETG
* Ability to operate hot-line bender, polisher and hand tools confidently.
* Good eye for detail and quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
