Elderly Nursing Home in Balcombe near Haywards Heath
£13.00 per hour (weekdays) and £13.50 per hour (weekends)
30-36 hours per week
Elite Search Associates are currently looking for a Activities Coordinator to join a fantastic elderly nursing home in Balcombe near Haywards Heath.
Package for the Activities Coordinator but not limited to:
* £13.00 per hour (weekdays)
* £13.50 per hour (weekends)
* 30-36 hours per week

Activities Coordinator requirements/duties:
* Previous experience working as an Activities Coordinator is essential
* A keen interest to work within elderly care
* Organise and co-ordinate activities for actives daily living encouraging reminiscence explore new opportunities and develop fresh ideas to further enhance the resident’s quality of life.
* Take a lead role planning and developing a varied programme of activities both within the home and external visits to places of interest with a focus on person centred care.
* Plan weekly activities schedule
* To assist, encourage and enable residents to participate in activities.
* To ensure that resident’s needs are met in a way that respects their choice, dignity, privacy and independence.
* Provide one to one activities with residents
