Location: Schools and Colleges (Special Needs Resource Base - SNRB) across South Wales
Pay: £13.68 per hour
Empowering Learning are seeking compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support students in Special Needs Resource Base (SNRB) settings. You will work closely with teachers and specialists to empower learners with additional learning needs, helping them achieve their academic, social, and personal development goals.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with additional learning needs in SNRB settings.
Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons and interventions.
Support the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and track student progress.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Support students' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic student support.Skills & Qualities
Experience working with children or young people with additional learning needs, especially in SNRB or specialist settings, is highly desirable.
Patient, empathetic, and approachable with strong communication skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods and resources to meet individual student needs.
Reliable, organised, and committed to supporting learners' success.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, maintaining professional relationships with staff and families.Benefits
