Admin / Marketing Assistant

Salary: £26,000 per annum (pro rata if part-time)

Howard James Recruitment are proud to be working with a highly respected professional services firm based in Chester. Our client is currently seeking a dedicated, motivated, and resourceful Admin / Marketing Assistant to join their friendly and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Head of Operations and Senior Management Team
*
Manage and update the CRM system, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date
*
Assist with project-related admin, including preparing materials and liaising with external contacts
*
Coordinate appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
*
Draft, format, and proofread documents, reports, and presentations to a high standard
*
Monitor and replenish office supplies to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
*
Utilise Microsoft Office for document creation, scheduling, and team collaboration
*
Support basic marketing activity, including Canva design and content updates on LinkedIn or other platforms
*
Provide general office support and assist other departments as needed
What We’re Looking For
*
Previous experience in an administrative role within the UK
*
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
*
Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
*
Canva experience is a bonus but not essential
*
Familiarity with LinkedIn or other social media platforms is desirable
*
Background or interest in marketing would be advantageous
*
Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
High levels of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
