Job Description

Administrator (Audio Typing) Location: Montrose, Angus Contract: Temporary (1 Month Initially, with Possibility of Extension) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm Pay Rate: £15.35 per hour The Opportunity We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established professional services organisation based in Montrose for an experienced Administrator (Audio Typing). This is a temporary assignment for an initial period of one month, with the potential for extension. This role will primarily focus on audio typing and administrative support, while also assisting the reception and wider administration team with day-to-day office duties. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual with strong typing skills and previous administrative experience to join a busy and professional office environment. Key Responsibilities Audio typing of documents, correspondence and reports with a high level of accuracy Formatting and proofreading documents Filing, scanning and maintaining both electronic and paper records Providing administrative support to the reception and office teams Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence Updating client and company records Assisting with document preparation and archiving General office administration duties as required Ensuring confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive information Skills & Experience Required Previous administration experience within a professional office environment Proven audio typing experience with excellent accuracy and attention to detail Strong keyboard and document production skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly: Word Excel Outlook Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional and confident manner Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Experience Previous experience within a legal, financial or professional services environment Experience handling confidential documentation Familiarity with document management systems Fast and accurate typing speed What We're Looking For The successful candidate will be reliable, professional and able to hit the ground running in a busy office environment. You will have strong administrative capabilities, excellent attention to detail and be comfortable working with confidential information.
