Job Description

Our client is a small but expanding business based just outside of central Royston, Hertfordshire. We are now in the market for a well organised Administrator to join our growing team.... Job Purpose To provide administrative and coordination support to the project delivery team, ensuring client projects run efficiently, on programme, and in line with company procedures. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination • Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project administration • Maintain and update project documentation (drawings, statements etc..) • Track project progress and report updates to the team • Coordinate site start dates, logistics, and labour requirements Documentation & Compliance • Prepare and issue relevant paperwork and documentation. • Maintain health & safety records and site files • Ensure all documentation is up Communication • Act as a point of contact between site teams, clients, and suppliers • Schedule meetings and take minutes where required • Distribute key project information to relevant stakeholders Procurement Support • Assist with ordering materials and plant • Liaise with suppliers to confirm deliveries and resolve issues • Track orders and maintain procurement logs Commercial Support • Help compile project cost documentation General Administration • Maintain project folders and filing systems • Support preparation of reports and presentations • Manage emails, correspondence, and diaries for the project team Skills & Experience Required Essential • Strong organisational and time management skills • Good understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Desirable • Experience in engineering or related industry • Knowledge of health & safety documentation • Familiarity with project management or document control systems Personal Attributes • Proactive and able to use initiative • Strong attention to detail • Team player with a flexible approach • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Salary & Benefits • Company pension • Holiday + bank holidays to be agreed. • Training and development opportunities
