Salary: £26,000 - £30,000pa dependent on experienceReed are working with a great company who are seeking an Administrator to provide effective administrative and operational support at their depot/branch. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate processing of documentation, maintaining stock records, handling customer enquiries and supporting day-to-day business activities. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a commitment to teamwork.
Day-to-day of the role:
Serve as the first point of contact for customers, visitors and telephone enquiries, providing professional and friendly service.
Assist with processing customer requests, orders and general enquiries in line with company procedures.
Support colleagues across the branch to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Manage goods in administration, including processing delivery notes, stock transfer documents and ensuring accurate entry into company systems.
Oversee goods out administration to ensure all products leaving the premises have the required documentation and maintain accurate records of outbound goods.
Support the administration of stock transfers and assist in maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels.
Handle dispatch and invoicing administration, ensuring timely processing of delivery notes and accurate invoicing.
Process credit requests and maintain accurate records, providing necessary information to Head Office.
Complete end-of-day administrative procedures, reconcile payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
Order office supplies, maintain filing systems and support the overall organisation and efficiency of the depot/branch.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Good computer literacy and willingness to learn internal systems and procedures.
Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to prioritise workload and work accurately under pressure.
Positive and proactive attitude with a strong commitment to teamwork.
