Administrator £24,000 – £26,000 per annum Dundee, Office Based Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented administrator with a knack for customer service? Nicholas Hendry is currently working with a well-known, Dundee-based business that is currently enjoying a period of sustained growth. Our client is an instantly recognisable local employer that, due to continued expansion is looking to hire an experienced Administrator who has experience in both customer management & administration. We're looking for a proactive General Administrator to join our client’s team and play a key role in managing our customer accounts from initiation to ongoing support. In this varied and dynamic role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our new customers, as well as maintaining excellent relationships with existing ones. * Open and maintain new customer accounts, ensuring all details are accurate and up to date. * Manage customer data and records meticulously, including maintaining accurate details of actions taken during the account management process and ensuring follow-up actions are logged in our SAP system. * Handle account queries and resolve problems efficiently and within company guidelines, always promoting customer goodwill. * Liaise with internal and external parties regarding all aspects of account management. * Support our Equipment Finance operations by assisting with running the company's 'lease desk'. * Utilise online approval software and communicate directly with customers regarding application approvals. * Collaborate closely with Equipment Sales Administrators. * Administer the set-up of internally funded, short-term instalment plans. * Manage instalment plan collections, ensuring terms are met and providing collection forecast information. * Oversee the set-up of Direct Debits. * Handle customer debt letters and refer outstanding debt to collection agents, providing regular progress reports. * Assist with generating customer statements. What We're Looking For: * Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally within a customer-focused environment. * Exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues. * Proficiency in using administrative software and systems; experience with SAP is a significant advantage. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to excellent customer service. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
