We're looking for a meticulous and proactive Administrator to act as our Document Controller, ensuring the smooth flow of information for our decarbonisation projects in social housing. What You'll Be Doing:
As our Administrator / Document Controller, you'll be the backbone of our project's information management and office smooth running. Your key responsibilities will include:
Document Control: Receive and manage all incoming work documents from surveyors, ensuring they're accurately filed, categorised, and easily accessible.
Team Liaison: Work directly with the Retrofit Team, providing them with necessary documentation and information to ensure decarbonisation works can be carried out efficiently.
Information Flow: Maintain an organised system for project documentation, ensuring the right information gets to the right people at the right time.
General Administration: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the project team, ensuring operations run smoothly.
Office Management: Take responsibility for maintaining the office space, including ordering stationary, ensuring supplies like coffee and tea are stocked, and generally keeping the workspace tidy and functional.
What We're Looking For:
Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to document management.
Communication: Confident and clear communication skills to liaise effectively with surveyors, the Retrofit Team, and other colleagues.
IT Proficiency: Strong computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Proactive Attitude: A self-starter who can anticipate needs and take initiative to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Construction Experience (Asset!): Previous administrative experience within a construction company or property maintenance sector would be a significant advantage.
Reliability: Dependable and committed to maintaining high standards of administrative support.
