WeDoData are working with a growing college in London who offer a broad range of courses in adult education, further education and higher education, with its student numbers almost doubling in the past 5 years.
Due to the growth of the college and some recent staff changes, the college are now looking for a strategic business manager on an interim basis, initially for 3 months, to consult on admissions and enrolment, with the aim of developing and streamlining processes.
The role
In this strategic role, you will be responsible for the management of a team of 12 (10 student experience advisors and 2 admissions officers) who you will train and upskill - strengthening their skills and processes, boosting team confidence and morale.
You will oversee, review and improve the end-to-end admissions and enrolment service for short courses, EPYP (16-18), Accredited Provision for Adult Learners, short courses and higher education.
Requirements
You will need proven and extensive experience managing the end-to-end admissions process in further and/or higher education, including the management and development of a team.
You will need excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders, and the line management and mentorship.
A strategic mindset and ability to produce clear improvement plans and processes in written documentation to present to the CMEO.

This role can be offered on a fixed term contract, with a pro-rata salary, or on an agency basis with a day rate of around £250 per day (some flex for the right candidate!)
You will be working on site across 3 sites in London (all reasonably central with good transport links), with the option for 1 day WFH.
