Job Description
Durham Council is seeking a Social Worker with experience in adoption for an initial 6-month contract to join their Adoption Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a service that works closely with the Permanence Team, driving forward improvements in adoption practice and enhancing post-adoption support delivery.
You will be involved in all aspects of adoption work, including:
Post-adoption support
Access to records
Non-agency adoptionsSome prior experience within adoption social work is essential.
Contract Details:
Location: Durham
Duration: 6 months initially
Start Date: ASAP
Role: Adoption Social WorkerEssential Requirements:
Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
At least 3 years' experience as a Social Worker within Children's Services
Social Work England Registration
