Adoption Software Engineer - Authorisation 🌟
Location: Glasgow, London, or Radbroke (Hybrid - 2 days per week)
Contract Length: 6 months with Possibility Of extension

We're looking for an Software Engineer to help transform how we deliver secure, scalable technology. You'll work on a platform used by millions globally, driving the adoption of modern engineering practices around authorisation, policy-as-code, and cloud deployments.
🌐 What You'll Do
✔ Champion the use of cutting-edge authorisation frameworks (Styra OPA, OPAL, etc.)
✔ Work across UI, backend, and data layers for ultra-fast systems
✔ Enhance cloud solutions (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP welcome)
✔ Lead containerisation efforts (OpenShift, Kubernetes)
✔ Promote secure models like RBAC, ABAC, and ReBAC
✔ Use SQL and data insights to shape smart technical choices
🛠 What You Bring
Strong Java expertise with experience in high-scale environments
Deep understanding of AWS and hybrid cloud setups
Hands-on container orchestration and deployment know-how
Experience with policy-as-code and authentication systems (Ping Identity is a plus)
SQL skills for data-driven engineering
