Class 2 Cylinder Driver - Stalbridge, UK
Temp to Perm
Monday to Friday - Occassional Saturday OT
£17.13 Per hour
£25.69 after 42.5 hours

Job Responsibilities
Operate Class 2 vehicles to safely and efficiently deliver gas cylinders to various customer locations within the designated area.
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, maintaining high standards of customer service.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and securing of gas cylinders.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies.
Assist with loading and unloading cylinders, ensuring correct handling procedures are followed.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in delivering gas cylinders or similar hazardous goods is highly desirable.
Relevant CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to the transportation of hazardous materials.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy cylinders safely.
Proactive attitude with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
