Job Description
Merco Medical are proud to support the recruitment of an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join a vibrant, patient-focused practice in Liskeard, Cornwall.
Location: Liskeard, Cornwall
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum FTE (DOE)
Hours: Full-time (40 hours) and part-time considered
Contract Type: Permanent
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACP to help transform and modernise care pathways within a multi-disciplinary practice team. You’ll use your advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and treat patients autonomously, while playing a vital leadership role in clinical governance and team development.
This role is ideal for a practitioner passionate about delivering outstanding primary care and working collaboratively within a progressive, community-centred service.
What You’ll Do
Deliver autonomous patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatments
Provide clinical leadership and governance support to ensure safe, compliant service delivery
Work closely with a diverse MDT: GPs, nurses, wellbeing advisors, health coaches, physician associate, and more
Contribute to continuous service improvement and innovation
Balance traditional and modern approaches to healthcare delivery
What We’re Looking For
NMC/HCPC/GPhC registration
MSc in Advanced Practice or equivalent
Certified Independent Prescriber
Strong experience in primary care and minor illness management
Ability to manage full episodes of care
Skilled communicator and confident clinical decision-maker
Flexible, resilient, and capable of leading and inspiring teams
EMIS system experience preferred
