Location: Lambeth (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £52,674 – £55,710 per annum
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time | Locality-Based

This is a key role for experienced social workers who want to make a direct impact at the point of referral, helping families access the right support early and effectively.

About the Role
* Lead on high quality assessments at the point of referral
* Engage with families quickly to build trust and understand needs
* Work closely with the MASH and other frontline services
* Mentor and support newly qualified and less experienced social workers
* Help families access early intervention and support services
* Ensure timely and proportionate decision-making for children
What We’re Looking For
* Registration with Social Work England
* A recognised social work qualification
* Strong post-qualified experience in frontline assessment or duty roles
* Confidence in managing fast-paced, high-risk situations
* Excellent assessment, decision-making, and report-writing skills
* Strong communication and multi-agency working ability
* A calm, reflective, and supportive approach to team practice
