About the Role
Northampton Children's Trust is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practitioner to join our Safeguarding Team.
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will:
Provide expert guidance and support to social workers within the safeguarding team.
Lead on complex cases, ensuring the highest standards of practice and compliance.
Contribute to service development and mentor colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote their welfare
Assigned a small, manageable caseload to allow time for other key responsibilities
Mentor and support newly qualifiedand less experienced social workers.
Work closely with your Team Manager and support the team in their absence.
Be a key player in safeguarding vulnerable children and planning forpermanence.
Ensure adherence to legislation, guidance, and best practice.
Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
Significant post-qualifying experience in safeguarding and child protection.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and decision-making skills.
