Advanced Social Worker - Mainstream Fostering Team
Full time temporary contract
£35p/h
Hybrid working, but ideally available to site min 3 days per week (Friday essential)
Locaed in South Gloucestershire
Our Local Authority client are recruiting an Advanced Social Worker for their Mainstream Fostering Team in South Gloucestershire.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake thorough Form F assessments of prospective foster carers in line with national standards and agency policies.
Present assessment reports to fostering panels with professional recommendations.
Provide regular, structured supervision to approved foster carers, ensuring compliance with fostering regulations.
Work collaboratively to identify suitable matches between children and foster carers.
Contribute to placement planning meetings, ensuring that foster placements meet children's individual needs.Requirements:
Degree or postgraduate qualification in Social Work.
Registration with Social Work England.
