We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Aerospace Engineer Lecturer to deliver exceptional teaching and support to our students in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Engineering, or related disciplines. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of a cutting-edge facility while shaping the future of aerospace professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lectures, practical workshops, and tutorials within Aerospace Engineering and related subjects.
Develop, review, and update course materials to ensure they meet the latest industry standards and technological advancements.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Support students’ academic and career development to maximize their success.
Collaborate with academic colleagues to enhance curriculum and program delivery.
Build and maintain relationships with local and national aerospace and aviation industry partners.
Participate in college meetings, initiatives, and contribute to the development of the new campus community.
Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance teaching excellence and subject knowledge.
Essential Qualifications:
Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (or equivalent, e.g., GCSE grade C or above, GCSE grade 4 or above).
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Aerospace, Aviation Engineering, or a related discipline.
Degree-level qualification (Level 6) in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Engineering, or a related field.
Full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above, or willingness to work towards obtaining one. The college offers support to achieve this qualification as part of our commitment to your professional development.
Desirable Attributes:
Practical industry experience in aerospace or aviation engineering.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for inspiring and motivating students from diverse backgrounds.
Commitment to inclusive teaching practices and promoting student success.
Up-to-date knowledge of aerospace industry trends and emerging technologies.
