Job Responsibilities:
On-site supplier management according to the quality manager’s plan, including:
Manufacturing process supervision/special inspections.
First article inspection (FAI) supervision.
ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure) witnessing.
Pre-shipment inspection.
Reporting quality issues found on-site.
Investigating supplier quality problems, verifying corrective actions, and ensuring continuous improvement.
Handling supplier non-conformities.
Supply chain risk management.
Supervising supplier quality management systems, supporting company and authority audits.
Supporting other teams’ supplier visits.
Qualifications:
Must undergo special training to fully perform quality representative duties; familiar with supplier products, processes, documentation, drawings, and specifications.
Degree qualified preferred.
Skilled in on-site inspections, ATP, FAI, audit methods, and use of inspection tools.
Familiar with quality system reviews, non-conformity control, and corrective action verification.
Over 5 years’ aviation product quality management experience; Boeing/Airbus supplier quality experience preferred.
Candidates should be prepared to live and work in China for 1- 3 years initial contract.
Aerospace Supplier Quality Manager – Shanghai, China.
Job Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for supplier quality planning and management from product to system level.
Develop early quality control plans in product R&D phases.
Participate in supplier development processes and approval procedures.
Conduct supplier audits.
Coordinate quality requirements, finalize product quality standards, and communicate them internally and externally.
Initiate supplier site inspection tasks.
Track and analyze supplier corrective actions and organize closed-loop verification.
Qualifications:
Supplier Quality Engineer qualification; full knowledge of product design input, manufacturing processes, and acceptance requirements.
Degree qualified preferred.
Skilled in quality tools and systems; able to plan site inspections.
Capable of supplier onboarding and periodic quality evaluation.
Strong data analysis skills, risk prediction, and corrective/preventive action planning.
Excellent communication skills; fluent in English for direct communication; able to coordinate internal teams and suppliers.
