Warehouse Operative – Picking, Packing & Scanning
Location: TQ12
Shift: 14:00 – 00:30 (Afternoon to Night Shift)
Pay: £12.21 – £13.73 per hour (dependent on shift/experience)
Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent Opportunities
About the Role
We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution centre. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and scanning parcels with accuracy and speed to support daily dispatch operations.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and are comfortable on their feet throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately picking and packing customer orders

Scanning parcels using handheld scanners
*
Sorting and labelling parcels ready for dispatch
*
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
*
Following health & safety and manual handling procedures
*
Meeting daily targets and performance expectations
What We’re Looking For

Previous warehouse or parcel sorting experience is desirable but not essential – full training provided
*
Good attention to detail
*
Ability to work on your feet and perform physical tasks
*
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
*
Comfortable working afternoon and night shifts
