AGRICULTURAL ENGINEER Great opportunity for an Agricultural Engineer / Agriculture Mechanic / Plant Mechanic / Farm Machinery Engineer / Agriculture Equipment Technician / Mechanical Engineer. Location of the Agricultural Engineer / Agriculture Mechanic / Plant Mechanic / Farm Machinery Engineer / Agriculture Equipment Technician / Mechanical Engineer: Near Horsham / Billinghurst area Salary of the Agricultural Engineer / Agriculture Mechanic / Plant Mechanic / Farm Machinery Engineer / Agriculture Equipment Technician / Mechanical Engineer: DOE £50,000.00 pa Hours of work: 8am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday overtime available for weekdays and weekends As an Experienced Agricultural Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing cutting-edge farm machinery. You’ll handle everything from routine maintenance and diagnostics to pre-delivery inspections, working both on-site and at the depot. This role offers the chance to work with a variety of equipment, including tractors, combines, sprayers, and balers, while promoting the dealership services and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers. Responsibilities of the Agricultural Engineer / Agriculture Technician / Plant Mechanic / Farm Machinery Engineer / Agriculture Equipment Technician / Mechanical Engineer: * Carry out scheduled service maintenance and repairs on-site and at the depot. * Carry out fault-finding and diagnosis on all types of farm machinery. * Complete pre-delivery inspections. * Promote dealership services to customers. * Attend manufacturers’ training courses. * Complete job stories and hours using iPhone. * Utilise laptop diagnostics and service systems. * Work alongside and communicate with customers, colleagues, manufacturers, and suppliers.
