Air Tightness & Acoustic Tester - Chester
About the Role
We're looking for a certified Air Tightness & Acoustic Tester to join our expanding team in Chester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects in Chester and beyond, helping to improve building performance and sustainability across the UK.
What You'll Do
Carry out air tightness testing on domestic and non-domestic buildings in line with ATTMA standards.
Perform sound insulation testing in accordance with ANC guidelines and Building Regulations.
Produce clear, accurate reports with practical recommendations.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and site teams in Chester and nationwide.
Travel to sites across the UK, representing the company with professionalism and expertise.
What We're Looking For
ATTMA Level 2 certification (Domestic & Non-Domestic).
ANC Sound Testing certification.
Strong numerical background (GCSE/A-Level Maths).
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Proactive, organised, and a confident communicator.
Your Day-to-Day
Visiting client sites to complete air tightness and acoustic tests, primarily in Chester and the surrounding areas.
Setting up, operating, and maintaining testing equipment.
Analysing results and producing professional reports.
Problem-solving with site teams and providing expert advice.
Managing your workload to ensure deadlines are met.
